Service Director

The Carolina Sport Administration Club is the official club of the Sport Administration Major at UNC - Chapel Hill. I am on the leadership team and oversee the volunteer events the members must complete. I share opportunities for community service in sport in our area and am in charge of member "dues" as you "pay" for the club through volunteering. Before this role, I was involved in Omega Phi Alpha, a national community service sorority aiming to be an inclusive and diverse provider of lifelong, service-oriented leadership development. For my chapter at UNC-Chapel Hill, I was elected as the Service Director. I oversaw and delegated tasks to a service committee, collaborated with local and national organizations, and planned, executed, and evaluated ten service projects per year for roughly 100 college students. Before this role, I had a similar position in high school as the President of the Service Council, the student-led community service group. During my years in these positions, I have hosted over 30 service events for more than 300 middle school through college-aged students. While participating in community service is one of my core values, I am also passionate about inspiring the younger generation to give back to their community as well.
